Senior Performance Test Engineer - Software Development, Java JEE, Performance testing, C++
Randstad IT Professionals is actively trying to fill a Senior Performance Test Engineer role for one of our major clients, a global bank headquartered in Zurich.
SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES
The performance engineer has to deliver analysis and decision of an appropriate design approach for an abstraction layer to enable the verification of non-functional requirements of the underlying system (including infrastructure, platform technologies and in-house developed application components).
In this position, the performance engineer has to:
- Define test scope based on change requests and non-functional requirements
- Validate the non-functional requirements
- Supervise and review performance test automation of offshore resources
- Execute, analyse and document performance tests
- Support defect fixing by profiling and development of solution proposals
- Present findings and results to the project team,
- Good know-how about banking infrastructure and processes
REQUIRES SKILLS & QUALIFICATION
Good communication skills are required for this position as well as deep technical JEE and JAVA tuning know-how. The ideal candidate will act as the key resource for technical QA related deliverables as part of Specialist Testing.
- A Graduate or Postgraduate level of education majoring in Information Technology or equivalent experience
- Proven track record in software development
- 5+ Years: experience in IT
- 3+ Years: experience in Performance Testing
- 3+ Years: Software development experience in Java (JEE), preferably tuning know how
- 2+ Years: (NTH) Software development experience in ANSI C/C++
