Job description for Visual Basic Developer (VBA Developer)
Assignment During a period of 2 months develop new macros and change existing macros in MS
Excel. You will be part of a project team existing out of approximately 15 people.
The purpose of the function:
The VBA Developer is involved in all aspects of the construction, testing and deployment activities of the specified macros.
Key responsibilities and areas of interest:
- Develop the macros
- Supporting the test analysts
- Supporting the maintenance organization
- Create documentation (where applicable) for construction, testing, implementation and maintenance
Job requirements
Besides the above mentioned responsibilities, the VBA Developer must demonstrate an interest in the software development principles. This interest ensures that the software is developed righteously which supports the business needs but also adheres to a standard of high quality and easy maintainablility.
Knowledge and skills
* Education: University, eg Computer Science or Business Administration or Bachelor education
* Language: Mastery of the English language at B2 level (pre), business English (MUST)
* VBA Scripting experience (MUST)
* Microsoft Excel (MUST)
* Software development background (MUST) ICT oriented knowledge
