Senior Java/Oracle Developer - Java, Oracle, PL/SQL, JAP, Scrum, agile, C#/.NET, Ctrl-M
Randstad IT Professionals is actively looking for a Senior Java/Oracle Developer for one of our major clients, a renowned bank headquartered in Zurich, for a long term project.
Re-engineering of a Mutual & Hedge Fund Execution system based on a new target architecture aiming to significantly improve the user experience, further increase STP rates, better integrate with up- and down-stream systems, etc. Technologies used: Java (Middle-Tier), Oracle, Coherence, C#/.NET (Front End), Ctrl-M.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 8+ years Java experience
- 5+ years Oracle/PL/SQL experience
- Expert in Object Oriented software design and good knowledge of design patterns (eg CQRS)
- Experience with JAP platform beneficial
- Self-starter, gets up to speed within weeks, not months
- Hands-on experience working in agile teams (Scrum)
- Outspoken, natural leader who can drive an agile software development team from the inside
- Agile engineering practices (unit testing, continuous integration, refactoring, etc.)
- Experience with order & trade management systems very beneficial
- English must
- Oral German very beneficial
