Project environment

The mandate takes place in a global Swiss Bank. The IT organization "Credit Risk Solutions" is seeking a Warehouse Application Developer for the "Credit Risk Control Data Warehouse" (RC-DWH) application in Switzerland.

Tasks

As a Warehouse Developer you are responsible for the analysis, design, implementation, test and 3rd level support of components for the “Credit Risk Control Data Warehouse”. The components are based on technologies in the area of DB/2, Job Control and Unix (AIX).

Requirements

- University degree or professional experience of at least 5 years.
- In-depth experience in high-volume, high-performance, scalable data warehouse design/development is essential.
- Experience in process control design, implementation and 3rd level support.
- Design/Development Experience in ETL, SQL, job control, ksh (on AIX); preferred in combination with experience and knowledge of Tools such as Toad, Power Center and Power Designer.
- Experience with RUP iterative development.
- Experience in the area of credit risk management is an advantage.

Soft skills

- Very good analytical and design skills and the ability to grasp complex business or technical issues in a structured and efficient manner.
- Good German and English both written and spoken.
- Only Swiss/EU citizens or candidates with valid Swiss work permit may apply.
- Strong problem solving and communication skills.
