Job Description:

You are an ambitious professional who enjoys working in a dynamic and diverse environment. To strengthen the Finance Accounting project management team, we are looking for an experienced Accountant with SAP Knowhow.

What we need:

In order to support the SAP stream we are looking for a skilled accountant with testing experience.

The ability to familiarize quickly and independent with new topics (especially financial accounting and reporting including relevant IT infrastructure) is a prerequisite for this challenging and interesting job opportunity. Timely delivering in good quality standard is critical. Activities are performed in close collaboration with Accounting colleagues.

Responsibilities:

Support onshore analysis of business processes and requirements, document change requests, working closely with IT during realisation phase, covering tests and assisting implementation into production of underlying systems.

Analyse incidents in daily processes and monthly closing of the SAP books including all related interfaces ensuring the integrity of the banks accounting processes in conformance with accounting policy and company timelines. Involve, where applicable, IT to fix bugs.

Ensure complete, accurate and auditable accounting (financial and operational accounting) for the balance sheet of the parent company in Switzerland
Lead and participate in procedure improvement activities creating efficiencies while minimizing risk and making processes more efficient and reliable.

Work on the supervision, accounting, plausibility check and commentary of the balance sheet items and provisions (for credit risk, operational risk, restructuring & other)
Testing of the newly set-up SAP accounting and reporting process for completeness and accuracy
Produce internal reports and regulatory Statistics with plausibility check and commentary
Prepare for audits and SOX compliant documentation
Collaborate with internal partners (including operational risk, treasury, controlling and front-line units)
Support the SAP-team on the project

Requirements:

BA or MA degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business computer sciences.

Professional experience in accounting in a financial environment (Financial Accountant)
Experience in financial accounting with SAP CO and SAP FI including sub modules Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Fixed Assets
Customizing SAP FI and CO, ideally ABAP coding knowhow
Very good written and spoken German and good English
Must be proficient in financial analysis with strong Excel and Access skills and an aptitude to work with complex scenarios.

Project management skills and an innovative approach in problem solving and drive to address proactively possible areas of improvement.

The System Administrator is responsible for administering, maintaining, enhancing and implementing system changes from small components, to entire complex systems infrastructure, adhering to the established industry standards. This also involves monitoring and controlling the performance and status of the infrastructure and the physical computer equipment on which systems and applications operate. This role ensures that the operation of the infrastructure is in accordance with established procedures and practices. Whenever infrastructure availability, integrity or performances are compromised, the System Administrator will ensure that prompt and competent action is undertaken. This role will work with other technical teams in the support and enhancement of the core infrastructure to ensure better reliability and resilience, whilst at the same time making the environment more cost effective. This may include making recommendations about enhancements to the existing infrastructure. Director and Executive Director System Administrators will be expected to have significant enterprise stack expertise in one or more technical areas and be responsible for mentoring and delegating work.

Scope and complexity of role:

Level 3 staff act as experts and managers in their area and usually work on products and/or processes of low to medium complexity. They may also be involved in coordinating activities that extend beyond own area of expertise. They deal with client groups of medium complexity. Span of Control: Level 3 staff are typically responsible for a small to medium size team. As line managers, they are responsible for results-oriented management. This includes: active employee management; adherence to budget and compliance rules and to the relevant internal guidelines and legal provisions; supervision of daily operational business. Typically they enable change, innovation and continuous productivity gains and process information within their team. Organizational Impact: Level 3 staff proactively contribute to changes in processes and procedures and to continuous productivity gains that impact their team and areas beyond.
