For a project at our banking client site in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced
Business Engineer for OTC Products (2170)
As Business Engineer you will have to define processing requirements for OTC products in the following areas:
- Operations areas
- Financial Accounting
- Product Control
Additional tasks:
- Responsibility to provide SME expertise and BE services to client projects
- Main responsibility to analyze the business processes depending on the IT strategy, requests and priorities
- Possibility to develop and maintain trusted advisor relationships by partnering with business partners and internal IT stakeholders to achieve business and IT objectives
- Global exposure - dealing with our clients Locations outside Switzerland
- Close collaboration and cooperation with Business, Project Managers, BA's, Developers, Testing and Support teams
- Take ownership for specific domains from the gathering of requirements, engineer, testing until go-live
- Contribute and support the testers during the test phases and manage accurate defect reports where necessary
Your qualifications:
- Several years of experience in business analyses and experience in international banking environments
- IT background and experience with iterative incremental software development is an advantage
- Good knowledge in the life cycle of the products and the complete End2End processing
- Ensure and coordinate the know-how transfers
- The opportunity to translate business request into technical specifications
- German knowledge is an advantage
- Degree or higher education in Information Technology and/or Business/Economics or equivalent
- Good knowledge of OTC Products and general Business know-how and some years of practical experience
- Knowledge of trading and Back Office systems in international banking environment
- Familiar with iterative development styles and fast turnaround in a tight team
- Strong communication skills and good language skills in English and German
- Drive for high quality and working with other internationally oriented organizational units to achieve common goal
