Our client, a major player in the pharmaceutical industry is currently looking for a Communication Manager for a 6 months contract in Switzerland.
Description
As Communication Manager you will be rsponsible for:
- Internal communication
- Certain external communications tasks
- Corporate Programs
Responsibilities/Tasks:
- Communications:
- Creating and driving evolution of the communication concept for Bern site in a systematic way, with a strong focus on managing all aspects of internal communications:
- set-up of an efficient model of local internal communication
- critical review of existing processes with improvement and set-up of new processes
- Identifies communication needs by working with the local Management board
Is handling communications projects (plan, develop and implementation) for Bern site
Is the primary contact to stakeholders and partners in-/outside for communications
Researches, writes and edits communications (Internet, Intranet, Announcements, Newsletter etc.) for Bern site. - Prepares materials for internal and external presentations on activities in Bern
Organizes and coordinates external and internal stakeholder visits
Supports/Leads local team with rebranding of our local organization
Implements local adaptations of international communication activities - Corporate Programs & Event Management
Supports certain Corporate Programs (eg BCP)
Organizes internal and external events eg Town Halls, Sponsoring, Site events, etc.
Skills:
- Senior PM with minimum 8 years experience
- Experience in the Pharma industry, ideally with some knowledge of Regulatory
- Someone who can be flexible to sudden changes in approach (due to complexity of a product or unavailability of resources), a "fire fighter" mentality
- Experience of leading a migration project or workstream is key
Qualifications required:
- Communications Degree (Bachelor/Master, Fachausweis in PR or Communications)
- Professional experience in communication or PR - preferably in an international company (Pharm, Medical or Consumer)
- Excellent knowledge of communication trends, new media
- Excellent diction (verbally and written)
- Good understanding of economic and business complexity
- Strong interdependent partnering skills - operates well in networked and Matrix organization
- Responsive, flexible and supportive personality with a strong customer service mentality
- Initiative person who likes to set-up a strong local communication structure

Workload: 60-70%
