For our client, an international bank based in Zurich, Swisslinx are looking for a highly motivated Business Analyst with experience of AML and compliance projects and knowledge of Mantas to work on a long term project in Zurich.
This is a 12 month contract with a strong potential for extension starting ASAP.
Business Analyst with Mantas knowhow, AML, Banking (Contract, Zurich)
In this challenging new role you will be expected to take full end-to-end responsibility for the requirements gathering and data analysis needs on projects. They may be engaged in multiple projects and multiple teams simultaneously. Specifically this role is to design and manage specifications for a project based in the AML domain and run respective data analyses.
- Perform business analysis to help define solution options and recommendations, including pros/cons and rationale for recommendation
- Create key project documents such as end-to-end current/future business process flows, Use Cases, functional requirements
- Identify and analyze data derived from different data sources and work with data source owners to understand mappings, data attributes and gaps
- Work with global stakeholders in understanding and translating requirements to the underlying data
- Gather and document requirements reviews with business stakeholders and achieving signoff
- Identify and document process changes and system enhancements
- Ensure process improvement through redesign is at the forefront of all initiatives
- Facilitate working groups tasked with solving specific data challenges within the organization
- Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills along with the ability to synthesize views of multiple stakeholders and advocate positions effectively
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Proven experience at a business analyst on compliance and/or AML projects
- Good practical knowledge of Mantas
- Strong data analysis experience and ability to make recommendations and ensure quality and appropriate controls
- Fluency in English
