Axiom Developer - RISK Finance IT are an integral part of the global IT function that underpins the Bank's corporate reputation and are responsible for implementing best in class applications to serve our Business partners across Risk and Finance. The objectives are to drive architectural simplification and reduce complexity, resulting in a stronger delivery capability. This is only made possible by our motivated, skilled and well trained team of 2600 employees worldwide.
Financial Reporting IT is responsible for organisations books and records system infrastructure, including regulatory reporting and disclosures. This department is currently ramping up their capability within their Lausanne Center amongst a number of competencies. A key competency for the center is in the area of AXIOM Regulatory Reporting.
Main Tasks:
- Analysis, design, development, validation and deployment of enhancements and BAU projects in Axiom Version 7 for Regulatory Reports.
- Perform detailed technical analysis on requested changes, provide advice on feasibility, effort estimates and alternative options
- Good Understanding and experience in oracle SQL and PLSQL queries with Performance tuning in Oracle and familiar with Software Development life cycle and IT infrastructure
- Have very good knowledge of Unix Scripts and able to understand and implement the changes and create new scripts.
- Job schedule changes and setup new jobs dependency in Control-M scheduler.
- Interacting with business users, external parties, regulatory interfaces and infrastructure.
- Ability to conceptualize and deliver solutions for requirements.
- Ability to communicate with junior team members with an aim to developing their skills and abilities
- Play a key role in developing team and competency in AXIOM development to provide support across a number of regions (Americas, EMEA as well as Switzerland)
Skills Required:
- University degree in technology
- Axiom Controller View, Reporting Tools.
- Basic accounting concepts
- Solid understanding of Axiom Regulatory Reports and Good experience in Data source, Data model, Portfolio, Aggregation, Reports and workflows, projects and branch concepts..
- Have very good knowledge of scripts and manipulate feed files with Unix Scripts.
- Good Understanding and experience in oracle SQL and PLSQL queries with Performance tuning in Oracle
- Have good knowledge on Crystal Report Business Object, Crystal Report Enterprise Server, Cognos Report
