For a longer term project at our client's site, a global bank based in Zurich, we are looking for a

Business Engineer - Portfolio Advisoring & Monitoring (3415)

This is Business Engineering position in a team of about 150 IT specialists (onsite and offshore) responsible for supporting, maintaining and extending the strategic application Portfolio advisoring and monitoring (PA&M). This role offers the possibility to perfect your business engineering skills within a motivated international team, a challenging banking domain and an interesting technical environment in close collaboration with the banks business clients.

In order to be successful, you will bring good knowledge of financial products, risk management / investement proposals for portfolio etc .

Job Qualifications:

- At least 3 years of experience as Business Engineer and/or Requirements Engineer
- Academic degree (Masters, Bachelor) in economics, computer science or similar
- Theoretical and practical financial know-how (especially in the following functional domain: wealth management, investment products, portfolio analysis and portfolio risk management)
- Experience using requirements engineering tools (JIRA, Enterprise Architect) and methodologies (i.e. UML)
- Strong and accurate analytical and communication skills, valid presentation skills
- Ability to work with different stakeholders and project roles
- Previous experience in Agile projects would be an advantage
- Previous experience in large financial organizations would be an advantage
- Self-motivated, reliable, flexible and initiative personality with the ability to learn
- Proficiency in English, German is an asset

The broad variety of responsibilities include:

- Achieving a clear understanding of business goals and needs within the context of business processes
- Eliciting, analyzing, developing, validating and managing requirements during the whole project life cycle
- Challenging business requirements during elicitation
- Working closely with business partners and IT team (e.g. architects, solution engineers and testers) and ensure common understanding
- Acting as a trusted advisor to our business partners
- Producing functional specifications for solution components or integrated solutions within an Agile Program organization
- Reviewing aBOM structures, high-level design, user Acceptance Criteria and test cases to ensure alignment to business requirements
- Proactively identifying areas for improvement (in process / product / project) and works to implement changes
