For a project at our banking client site in Zurich, we are looking for an experiencedMS-SQL Database Administrator (2334)
The tasks you will fullfil:
Install, maintain, operate and support our clients MS SQL Infrastructure Environment
Restore , Backup and clone of DB instances
DB environments and components understanding
Incident management for the DBs in scope
Proactive application/project team co-ordination during incidents
Problem/Issue resolution (System & Performance)
Database Object Performance/ Tuning
Knowledge management, including documentation
Automation
Look after the availability, integrity and security of our clients data in the projects database
OnCall support
Your qualification:
University degree or equivalent work experience in computer programming
Experience in SQL database administration
Profound experience in incident management for DBs
Good verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
Knowledge of computer software, such as SQL, Visual Basic, Oracle, etc.
Fluency in English, German would be an asset
