Introduction:
Since the foundation of ITech Consult AG in 1997, we have continually extended our network of freelance computer experts. Today, we can fall back on around 20,000 qualified IT specialists (developers, system experts, project managers, support technicians and more).
Responsibilities:
. Analyse all Lab IT solutions to assess whether the configuration could be standardised. If not, document reason. If so, convert
. Work on projects to integrate new equipment into Lab IT infrastructure.
. Involves working with vendor, understanding security policy and support model
. Document compliancy of Lab IT software solutions providing evidence of compliance and correcting non-compliance as required
Key Skills:
. Problem determination/diagnostics
. Operational problem tracking with vendors
. Automation (script writing, monitoring)
Key Behaviours:
. Rigour to setup comprehensive admin environment (documentation, organisation, configuration etc.)
. Ability to (re)configure systems
. Tenacity to resolve problems
Knowledge
Solid experience in Windows and at least THREE of the following:
. Lab instrument software
. "ghost" like image copying
. NAS/SAN/CIFS
. Anti-virus
. Vendor remote access
. CMD file script writing
