For a project at our banking client's site in Zurich we are looking for an experiencedGerman speaking Business Project Manager in the "Too big to fail" context (2389)
Our client's current structure of legal entities is the result of historical acquisitions, and tax/capital/legal optimizations. The Global Legal Entity Program (LED) is a response to the client's key regulatory requirements to improve stability and resolvability in the banking sector.
In the context of the LED, the client has created new legal entities. The Project Manager will work on an important stream of the LEP which focuses on one of the newly created legal entities to ensure that it will continue to operate as a Swiss bank regulated by FINMA. This can include licenses, SLAs, etc.
Role Description
• Project manage sub-streams of our client's newly created legal entities
• Drive deliverables of the sub-stream
• Facilitate and coordinate between the different divisions involved, e.g. Treasury, Accounting, Tax, Legal, New Business
• Maintain appropriate program governance
Your qualifications:
• Proven project management and coordination experience, at least 3 years
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver tangible, high-quality, project delivery results within tight deadlines and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Very good oral and written communication skills and presentation skills with ability to formulate and conduct presentations comfortably to large groups and senior management
• Strong interpersonal skills that enable building effective working relationships and partnership across different divisions, functions levels and cultures
• Good understanding of the financial sector in general and treasury and finance in particular
• Experienced user of MS Project and MS Office toolset (Word, Excel and PowerPoint); relevant qualification preferred
• Project management certification e.g. PMP, CAPM, PRINCE 2 is a plus
• Excellent English and German language skills
