For a leading Swiss Client we are looking for a Big Data Platform Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Innovative Environment
- Working in a small international team
- Working on a growing platform that is used in different areas across the company
- You will work on data pipelines and integrate new big data technologies
- Supporting and consulting the users of this platform
Requirements:
- Master degree in Computer Science or an equivalent
- Strong experience in Hadoop - hands-on development experience with Hadoop is required
- Configuration Management/DevOps (Saltstack, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, etc.)
- Knowledge of security concepts
- Very good experience with Java, Scala or Python
- Unix (Redhat)
- Experience with Hive SQL would be an advantage
