Role: Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Your availability: Immediate
Workload/weekly working hours: 100%/40 hours
DESCRIPTION:
* Perform manufacturing process equipment specification and facilitate its acquisition and expediting (URS, RFI, RFQ)
* Planning and supervision of FAT, SAT, construction/installation activities to ensure adherence to site safety and quality requirements.
* Perform equipment installation, commissioning and validation (IQ, PQ, OQ).
* Maintain technical documentation of machinery
* Set up maintenance plans
* Coordinate design & development of tools, fixtures, gauges and special equipment for manufacturing operations, product and processes
* Ensure manufacturing process stability in collaboration with other functions, and ramp-up of equipment
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
* University degree in Mechanical Engineering, with 5+ years relevant experience.
* Demonstrated track record of engineering project delivery in regulated industry (FDA, ISO, etc.)
* Previous experience of in medical devices or pharmaceuticals manufacturing industries
* Experience with one or more of the following technologies: metal turning, metal milling equipment, mechanical surface finishing, chemical surface finishing, polymer processing, inspection, automation & conveying
* Previous experience with equipment validation
* Languages: English (fluent) & German (business)
* Formal project management qualification/certification, PMP or similar.
* Experience in statistical process development techniques.
* LEAN and Six Sigma
* Knowledge of SAP, Maximo
