Senior Manager Indirect Sourcing (m/f)

Your tasks:
- Develop and maintain a clear understanding of the supply base for the selected indirect portfolio
- Establish structured relationships with key suppliers, putting appropriate contracts in place to meet agreed business requirements; including the negotiating and approving of pricing, and contract terms for assigned indirect materials and services
- Manage purchases to ensure best prices are negotiated to maximize business profitability and meet security of supply, total cost reduction and productivity improvement targets, while ensuring that procurement planning and lead times requirements are met
- Develop and implement category strategies
- Interface with appropriate Business Unit heads, Laboratory heads, Site Leadership, and other key stakeholders
Your qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration or Chemistry/Biology
- Profound category management experience in labs, preferably in the chemical or pharma industry and business experience
- Strong negotiation skills and demonstrated project leadership success
- International experience required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as the ability to build business relationships and to work well in multifunctional teams are important
- Fluent in English, German is an advantage
