Infrastructure Cloud Engineer; Open stack. Python; Hadoop; DevOps Geneva.Switzerland
Key is to maintain infrastructure and distributed systems, ideally we need a site reliability engineer.
Fault forecasting.
STRONG; Security. Private Cloud.
Relevant experience (at least 3 years) in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering and operating Private Cloud and Big Data Infrastructure (OpenStack, Hadoop).
Qualifications: Master's Degree in Computer Science or related subjects;
Strong experience with Python and with Open Source frameworks.
Deep understanding of distributed systems, networking, security, storage and public/private cloud technologies.
Working knowledge of DevOps best practices, AGILE development and SCRUM methodology.
Ability to work in a remote and multi-cultural environment.
Excellent communication skills and proficient in English in order to collaborate with other developers and disseminate the work done by the team.
This is a 6-12 month contract. Phone interview and decision thereafter.
NO UK limited companies accepted. You need to work via a local umbrella company for all Swiss tax, social security and work permits. Switzerland is very strict but the process is very quick and easy. Tax is roughly 30%.
