For a 12 month project at our client's site, an international bank based Zurich, we are looking for an experiencedSenior Developer - .NET / C# / Trading Applications (4167)
To support the development team, the candidate should bring the following qualifications:
-Strong skills in OOP, .NET C# 4.5 or above, LINQ, multi-threading
-Strong experience with WPF / MVVM pattern (candidates with extensive Silverlight knowledge could also be considered)
-Usage of Infragistics or other third party UI controls
-Experience designing UI from a usability / user interaction point of view
-Good oral/written communication, positive and proactive team attitude
-Strong analytic and problem solving skills, flexible on moving targets
-Web technologies: Asp.Net MVC & Web Api, JavaScript
-DB design, SQL, including SQL Server 2008 or above
-WCF, messaging / queue technologies
-Good spoken and written English, German is nice to have
Your Responsibilities:
-Working independently and as part of a small team in an agile environment, under the guidance of the tech lead
-Developing components on a Microsoft 3-tier architecture system, with focus on both front end and middle tier
-Enhancing existing functionalities and designing/implementing new features following coding best practices
-Taking part in extending the testing framework and maintaining / improving unit tests
-Understanding the business specifications, converting requirements into technical solutions
-Supporting the Production Environment and the end-users
