IT Sourcing/Procurement Specialist
On behalf of our client, a leading global bank, we are looking for an English speaking IT Sourcing/Procurement Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for the bank's procurement and sourcing activities. He/She will manage all IT related spend matters such as Hardware, Software, associated services and IT Outsourcing. For this contract position based in Zürich, Switzerland, our client is looking for a candidate who can start as soon as possible.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- To execute sourcing requests and to execute critical sourcing transactions, covering expiring supplier contracts, contract terminations, amendments etc.
- Execute effectively and comply with process requirements
- Pick up complex sourcing work with respect to a large amount of contract renewals, contract amendment and new engagement
- Taking care of the entire end to end sourcing process ie leading negotiations, contracting, complying with 3rd party risk management procedures
You must possess:
- Minimum 5 years of sourcing experience, including minimum 3 years of IT Outsourcing/IT Consulting sourcing experience
- Experience within banking/financial institutions
- Strong negotiations and problem resolution skills; Vendor issue escalation and dispute management skills; Proficient project management skills
- Proven track record of working in a multi-task, international environment with an ability to work effectively cross border
- Fluency in English and German languages
