Tester (Tibco ESB Integration)
I am currently hiring a French or German speaking Tester (Tibco ESB Integration).
Purpose of the job
The Test Integration Engineer is responsible to identify the Integration Test scenarios based on the integration flows and Service/System components interfaces. The Integration Tests aim to verify the interfaces between Service/system components according to mainly non-functional requirements and Solution/Integration architecture.
Business environment
Main characteristics/scope
- The Test Integration Engineer will work on the Air Traffic Test platform, providing Staging areas for Integration, Functional and Non Functional Tests environments.
- Her/His main scope will be to define and run Integration Test scenarios to ensure that an ATM solution release is compliant with functional and non-functional requirements.
- Main deliverables are:
- Test Approach
- End to End Test Plan
- End to End Test scripts/Test Data
- Test Reports
Customers and stakeholders
- The Test Integration Engineer main customer are Project Team leads in charge of delivering components to the ATM solution release in Operation.
Major Challenges
- When dealing with End to End testing, the main challenges are:
- Understanding of End to End integration flows
- Proposing Test Approach aligned with each components
- Synchronizing Tests execution
Main responsibilities
Tasks
- Establish the end-to-end integration test scenarios based on the integration flows, and service/system interfaces.
- Execute test scenarios and document the result of the test executions.
- Organize the testing related tasks and provide estimations for the test efforts.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to establish and maintain the Test Scenarios, Test Artefacts and the overall Test Plan.
- Collaborate with the project and architecture teams to identify potential integration defects and define corrective measures accordingly.
End products/project outcome/Targets and Measures
- Unit tested code as per the user stories/requirements/agreed with product owner in agile methodology.
- Test scenario execution delay after solution delivery

Qualifications and technical competences required
Education
- B.E./B.Tech/MCA
Experience
- Number of years of experience overall 8 to 10 Years
- 4 to 5 Years in SOA (ESDL, UDDL, WS Policy)
- 2 to 3 Years in TIBCO
- 2 to 3 Java
Experience in Tools
- ESP Platforms line TIBCO
- SOAP UI
- Familiar with TIBCO Products Business Works (BW), EMS and HAWK.
- Familiar with Virtualization products such as VMWare.
Technical competences and skills
- Extensive experience with various testing levels: Component Interface Testing, System Testing and Operational Acceptance Testing.
- Extensive experience with various testing types: Compatibility Testing, Regression Testing, Performance/Capacity Testing and Acceptance Testing.
- Extensive experience with the "test-driven software development" model and the agile software development process.
- Extensive experience with the integration testing of autonomous services across Enterprise Service Bus platforms (eg TIBCO platform) and Messaging Middleware (eg EMS)
- Reasonable experience with the test automation techniques and tools (eg SoapUI).
- Team player with excellent inter-personal skills to participate in workshops with domain experts as well as collaboration with team colleagues.
- Good stakeholder management and moderation skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication in English.

Nice to have
- Familiar with TIBCO Products Business Works (BW), EMS and HAWK.
- Familiar with Virtualization products such as VMWare.
- Familiar with Software Quality Assurance.
