For a six month project at our client, an international bank in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced

Senior IT Business Analyst - Market/Credit Risk )

You'll be working in the Risk Strategic Change team in Zurich. Your role is to find strategic solutions for Market and Credit Risk infrastructure.

Your Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst within banking
  • Profound risk knowledge (about financial markets, risk control and regulatory environment)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills
  • Experience applying business analysis techniques
  • The ability to interpret a set of technical requirements
  • Knowledge of how to develop robust solutions
  • An understanding of the software development life cycle
  • Passionate about supporting the development of IT systems and applications
  • Technically savvy with an appreciation for IT capability
  • Adaptable, able to work across teams and functions
  • Fluent in English (oral/written)

Your Responsibilities:

  • Determine required IT business solutions and assist in implementing them
  • Conduct requirements-gathering activities, like evaluating services, using a variety of internal and external data and conducting stakeholder interviews
  • Support the business engineer by describing the business processes, including the organizational structures involved
  • Assist in quality control and project management
  • Identify people and systems impacted by functional and non-functional requirements
