For a 6 months project of our client, an international banking company, we are looking for an experienced

Senior Business Analyst - Credit Risk Reporting Platform (3911)

Our client's Risk division is responsible for the entire Risk portfolio, shaping strategic initiatives and supporting the target operating model in the risk arena. In this position, you will deliver a new risk reporting platform to Credit Risk Managers and Risk Analytics and Reporting professionals supporting Credit Risk Managers.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst in a similar role within a large financial institution
  • Excellent understanding of credit risk processes, experience in credit risk system implementations and regulatory delivery programs
  • Proficient understanding of front to back systems, data, calculations, processes and current regulatory regimes and requirements within risk functions of international banks
  • Experience in either Credit Risk domain: Swiss Bank, Private Bank, Corporate and Commercial Bank, Investment Bank environment
  • Experience of embedding new risk management systems in a complex organisations
  • Experience in agile project management
  • Track record of sourcing and defining clear and comprehensive requirements
  • Experience in designing operating models, processes and control functions
  • Reliable, analytical and flexible personality with a structured and analytical approach
  • Ability to work independently under tight timelines and cost constraints
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for tasks and people
  • Good planning and organisational skills
  • Teamplayer
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Close engagement with Credit Risk and Risk Analytics to define their requirements, present requirements to stakeholders
  • Ensuring that the business requirements are defined in line with the target
  • Operate models and address existing issues and gaps against applicable regulatory requirements in compliance with internal policies
  • Effective liaison with IT professionals
  • Adhering to project delivery methodologies (eg waterfall and agile)
  • Development of requirements specifications, functional specifications, business presentations, report mock-ups, dashboard wireframes, data mapping, testing and training documentation
  • Syndication of documentation to all the relevant stakeholders and achieving necessary approvals
  • Identify, analyze and resolve management risks
  • Impact analysis of changes to systems and process
  • Execute acceptance tests on technical solutions
  • Training for end users
