For one of our clients in the financial industry we are currently looking for an Oracle Applications DBA/PL/SQL Developer. It is a contracting position based in Zürich.
Responsibilities:
- Optimize the interaction with the database clusters in development and operation
- Maintain the configuration of the application databases
- Work closely with an infrastructure DBA in order to deploy database specific activities support the production
- Work on non-functional and functional testing
- Design applications from a database perspective
- Development activities
Ideal profile:
- Strong background as an Oracle DBA and PL/SQL developer
- Good Oracle RAC 11gr2 know how
- Experience with Linux RedHat
- Background as production DBA or production support for OLTP systems with Oracle RAC would be highly beneficial
- Fluent English language skills
- Relevant Oracle certificates would be a plus
