A global Swiss Insurance Company is looking for a Business Analyst, who will join a small but global project team. The candidate will be supporting/driving the business analysis from an IT perspective and support in the design and definition of automated Tax processes, their implementation, data integration and roll out. The position is in the Finance IT department of the Insurance Company.
Tasks
• Business analysis, requirements specification and implementation of to-be processes, data dictionaries as key member of the project team.
• Support the implementation of the future Tax application landscape and its integration with downstream / upstream systems.
• Work closely with the system engineers to ensure correct understanding and implementation of business requirements.
• Plan and execute change management activities including testing and user trainings.
• Business & technical end user consulting; monitoring, maintenance, 2nd level user support of productive processes.
• Support the Project Management.
Requirements
• Track record in an analysis function in a finance / accounting environment on the IT side.
• Technical know-how in databases is required, hands-on experience with ETL concepts and tools (e.g. Informatica PowerCenter) a plus.
• Oracle Financials - General Ledger experience is a plus (including the understanding of the underlying database).
• Experience in IT project management is preferred.
• Good knowledge / experience in MS Office, in particular Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluent in German and English.
