Support Analyst job in Zurich

On behalf of our client, a large global financial organisation, we are looking for a Support Analyst who would be responsible for user queries and incidents across the bank, to join their dynamic IT team in Zurich on a long term contract basis.

Responsibilities

  • The primary role of the Support Analyst is to handle user queries and incidents as outlinedin the IT Service Catalogue, and to resolve per documented procedures and in accordance with defined Service Level Agreements.
  • More experienced Support Analysts will have specialised Application/infrastructure knowledge and be able to perform minor changes (eg write scripts, read code, change batch jobs) in order to resolve more complex or unique problems and/or devise workarounds.
  • In addition, they would be expected to set out the framework and standards in this discipline.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar environment and ideally in a financial organisation
  • Excellent UNIX/Linux knowledge
  • Windows know how
  • Good Scripting skills
  • Good market Data services know how on technical level (TREPS/RMDS/Bloomberg)
  • Excellent communication skills in English
