Business Analyst - DWH wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.
Your experience/skills:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in DWH Datamodelling techniques, data and business analysis
- Good knowledge of designing data marts within an analytical environment with multiple and complex data sources
- Excellent experience in relational databases
- Experience in one of the following field: makreting, regulatory domain, IT data analysis
- Banking/finance experience would be a big plus
- Strong understanding of DB2 and SQL/Toad (writing and reading skills)
- Exposure to Enterprise Architect (EA)
- Know-how of BI-Tools (Business Objects/Cognos) and the software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Flexible, willing to travel between Zurich and Basel (Teams are based in both locations), home office possible
- Languages: English and German fluent
Your tasks:
- Analyzing and evaluating processes, products and services using internal and external data
- Designing the technical capability
- Documenting business requirements and as-is/as-to-be processes
- Determining improvements and solutions as well as assisting in the implementations
- Fulfilling project management tasks referring to quality control
- Managing a team of Junior Analysts
