Main Tasks:
(1) Support of project setup (e.g. project charter, scope statements, project handbook, etc.), project planning, project implementation, progress- & cost control, and project closing.
- Support of project organisations regarding preparation of project status / progress reports.
- Manages project information to support project teams, management teams (e.g. project steering, platform steering, Life Cycle Teams, etc.), and decision making.
- Single point of control for project data (collect from functions/finance; owns version management and release of changes)
- Handling of Project and Management meetings (set agenda, organize meetings, edit minutes)
- Guides and manages preparation for project milestone reviews.
- Create and maintain integrated task, resource and budget plans.
- Guide team processes, ensuring consistency, transparency and optimisation.
- Tactical coordination of timelines/budgets for all projects and functions within an area.
- Cultivates extensive internal and external contacts with users and partner companies.
- Defines, measures and reports key performance indicators for the projects to enable teams and functions to measure and improve quality, efficiency and effectiveness.
- In the absence of the Development Project Leader, able to run project team meetings.
- Set-up and adapt relevant PMO processes and structure in alignment with relevant stakeholders and ensure process implementation within Project Team.
- Act as the Project Scheduler for one or more Projects:
- Manage execution of cross-functional plans and track of progress of activities.
- Highlight and track dependencies across projects.
- Proactively identify gaps, look ahead to potential bottlenecks or delays and challenge assumptions.
- Analysing influences on project planning caused by changes, risks or issues.
- Early exposure of any deviations (schedule, resources, budget) and early warning of concerned parties.
- Consulting and support of project leaders in identification and implementation of preventive and / or corrective measures.
(2) Additional tasks, duties and responsibilities:
- Moderation and presentation of meetings and workshops.
- Setup and management of regulatory relevant milestones and checkpoints for projects.
- Consulting of Dev PLs (Core Team Leader) in project management activities.
- Coaching and consulting of project team members.
(3) Project Management activities: preparation of milestones.
(4) Project Management activities: preparation of project documentation.
(5) Project Management activities: tracking of plans and activities, composing meeting minutes.

Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of relevant project management work experience.
- Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
- MS Project & MS Visio skills.
- VBA for Excel & SQL skills would be an additional asset.
- Prior project management experience in Agile SW development environment would be a valuable asset.
- Self-motivated and very interested in project management.
- Interest in the diagnostics sector and products.
- Good team player.
- Proactive personality with good communication skills.
- System knowledge: MS-Office (very good skills required) and SAP (basic skills)
- Other skills: MS Project, MS Visio (good skills required) and VBA, Web Technologies, Sharepoint (basic skills)

Desired Profile:
- Looking for an enthusiastic and skilled team player open for different tasks within the German and English speaking project management environment for product development and product care of diagnostic instruments.
- Open and motivated to learn company-specific standards, tools, and processes and corresponding ability to incorporate them in the daily work.

Education:
Higher technical college

Languages:
Fluent English and basic german (fluent german skills are nice to have)
