Our client, an international consulting company within the pharmaceutical and chemical industry, is currently seeking for a Procurement Manager with experience in pharmaceutical site construction for a 6 Month contract based in the Basel area. This is an exclusive Real Staffing role with pre-confirmed interview dates.Requirements:
- Procurement expertise in the Infrastructure maintenance and Built Environment asset management sectors
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry
- Min 5 years of experience
- Knowledge of the Swiss market
- Experience in Global buying procedures
- Knowledge of market rates and prices of raw materials
- Languages: English is a must, German speakers preferred
Responsibilities
- Analysing buying requirements across various projects
- Consolidation of requirements into purchasing volumes
- Gain leverage and value from purchases
- Ability to manage stakeholders in a complex matrix environment
Duration: 6 months (with possibility of extension up to 24 months) - Travel to the US and Italy required (expenses covered by the client)
- Location: Basel area, remote part is possible but on-site preferred
- Start: ASAP
