PMO consultant (2508)
For our customer project within a large financial institution, we are looking for a PMO consultant (2508)
The first contract will be three months. Project duration however is much longer and the contract is likely to be extended
In this position you will act as a support to the Programme Manager on a "Life & Pensions" project. You will collaborate closely with workstream leads as well as support the Programme Manager in project governance & reporting and documentation related topics.
Your main responsibilities will involve:
Work closely with the Programme Manager on maintaining project documentation and overall project repository
Support project and workstream planning & tracking progress
Helps prepare project meetings such a steering committee, workstream update meetings including formally recording actions and decisions from the meetings
Supports monitoring of project financials
Tracking key project metrics, issues, risks, changes and helps produce monthly status reports in Planview as well as driving consistent overall project reporting
Manages change requests administration process for the project
Supports the project team in the development of action plans
Support project workshops where needed
Therefore, you bring profound experience as a PMO for large programms and your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
Excellent in English
Minimum 3-4 years experience as PMO consultant, project workstream lead or similar experience
Experience in working across multiple geographies and with a broad section of stakeholders
Ability to work at a detail level, but also explain and discuss high level concepts with stakeholders
Self-reliant and pro-active personality which is focused on being productive and contributing value to the organization
Good communication, influencing and negotiation skills as well as stakeholder management skills
Team player
