For our client, an international bank with a global reach, Swisslinx are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with in-depth knowledge working on Murex projects, particularly Back Office and accounting modules, for a long term project in Zurich.
This is a 12 month contract with a strong chance of renewal starting ASAP.
Murex Business Analyst, Banking (Contract, Zurich)
In order to be considered for this role you will bring the following skills and experience:
- University degree in a relevant discipline with 5+ years of experience in the Financial Services industry
- Between 5 and 10 years of experience writing business requirements and functional specifications plus
- Strong experience working with the Murex 3.1, especially in the connect of Back Office and accounting modules
- Solid knowledge of treasury or FX Back Office processing, focusing on OTC derivatives for FX and PM products as well as for IRD's
- Track record working in complex environments with multiple dependencies
- Computer literacy and an interest in technical innovations (knowledge of XML (FPML) and SQL
- Fluent written and spoken English, German is advantageous
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Our client's Murex team based in Zurich is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join their international team in a stable environment.
As the successful candidate your role includes the following key tasks:
- An interesting role to liaise with business and technical team members in order to determine the solutions to business needs
- A role to develop functional specifications, presentations and documents according to requirements from business
- Responsibility to analyse, design, test and support the implementation of technical solutions that address the changing functional requirements of the IRD's and FX/PM options business on a middle-Back Office related Murex platform
- The possibility to work in a dynamic environment within investment banking middle- and back- office
- Analysis, incident resolution and consulting tasks
- Involvement in 3rd level support for production issues
