TESTER (AUTOMATED SOFTWARE TESTING PLUS BUG REPORTING IN JIRA)
The contract is with a large consortium based in Brussels to be on assignment at a client site in Switzerland.
The client is seeking a Tester as follows:
Skills:
Good experience in testing software application, with experience in Intellectual Property
applications being an advantage
Applying test techniques and building test cases.
Test management and quality management
Software Development Languages & Tools:
Knowledge of automated software testing tools and bug reporting in Jira.
Context:
The application covers the procedure for filing a new application, managing and maintaining the registry. This application is a one-to-one migration from the Legacy system developed and is developed by an
outside company with Onsite/Offshore model.
Tasks:
Executing test cases against the system as supplied by an outside company;
Reporting any differences between the expected and actual results;
Assisting in the automation of the test scenarios;
Enhancing the test plans as the system matures;
Performing regression testing as new releases of the system are made available
Deliverables:
Completed test cases and reporting deviations from the expected results;
Updated test cases/test plans
Automated test scenarios
