Microsoft Middleware Engineer - Sharepoint, IIS, .NET
Our customer, a global leader in their field, requires an experienced Microsoft Middleware Engineer for an immediate start in Zurich.
The successful candidate will have the following tasks:
*Engages in research in all topics pertinent to the SharePoint, IIS and .NET stack
*Take over responsibility in the service design for IIS and .Net
*Push service transition of IIS and .NET to operations
*Take over responsibility for infrastructure topics in projects
*Defines and drives automation and self-service initiatives
*Ensures quality documentation is in place (architecture, processes etc.)
The successful candidate requires the following skills and experience:
*Expert knowledge of the SharePoint and IIS technology stack from an end to end perspective
*4+ years SharePoint and IIS working experience
*Strong troubleshooting skills (Kerberos, ULS viewer, Fiddler, NetMon etc.)
*Understanding of cloud concepts with focus on Microsoft Azure and SharePoint online
*Strong PowerShell Scripting knowledge (automation, logging, exception handling, etc.)
*Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server
Candidates must be available to start a new role within the next month and be able to work in an English speaking environment in Zurich.
