Senior Axiom Developer - For our client, a major bank, we are currently looking for an experienced Axiom Developer to join a newly created team, which has been setup to help support the global use and expansion of a Business tool used by the bank to report regulatory disclosures worldwide.Background Information:
- The Regulatory tool is a high profile system used by the bank to provide financial information to many regulatory bodies in Switzerland, the UK, Ireland, US, Singapore plus local regulators in countries such as South Korea, Australia, India, Japan, Indonesia and Taiwan
- The regulators request many different types of financial information such as Capital Adequacy(Credit, Market and Op Risk), Liquidity Ratios, Asset Encumbrance, Leverage Ratio, Large Exposures
- All of which need to be created using the regulatory tool and submitted on time and in full at different time cycles
- The process is of vital importance to the bank as its failure to comply would have a very serious reputational risk to the bank and penalties
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Tool Support - Assisting Business users with queries relating to the Tools output
- Data Analysis - Comparing new calculation results with legacy sets
- Development - Using the Business requirements to assist in the tools development for new regulatory requirements
Required Skills & Experience:
- Good experience developing in Axiom Controller View v9
- Good experience with the Axiom EBA Taxonomy and Axiom XBRL
- Experience with SQL
- Understanding of Financial Products and Banking
- Understanding of Financial Regulations
- Degree Qualification
- Strong interpersonal and team working skills
- Self-motivation - that the candidate is able to work with minimal supervision
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Flexibility to work under pressure to meet changing work requirements and strict deadlines
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Strong attention to detail
