Skills Required skills and experience:
?At least 5 years of experience as project manager in Data Warehouse environments having successfully managed and delivered projects with a volume of at least 3.000 PD/year
?Proven track record of projects where the above mentioned tasks were successfully applied
?Extensive experience in Agile/Scrum delivery in DWH projects
?Very strong leadership skills and team player
?Fluent German (written and spoken)
?Good English skills (written and spoken)
Additional skills and experience (nice to have):
?The ideal candidate has working knowledge as project manager on all areas of the DWH/BI stack, i. e. additionally in Business Intelligence (reporting and analysis), multidimensional data bases (MS Analysis Services, etc.)
Tätigkeit / Reporting into the Head DWH/BICC the Project Manager/Scrum Master manages a DWH project or project stream successfully within budget, schedule, scope, and quality to fulfill the agreed expectations (business case) of the sponsors/customers.
?Determine the project approach, staffing, responsibilities, schedule, and ensure resource availability
?Confirm scope, develop and/or review estimates and estimating assumptions for the project’s schedule, effort, and cost using established estimating models, best practices, and past experience
?Plan the execution of all project tasks and deliverables for the project or service applying best practices. The resulting estimates account for all activities in the project scope, including project management and application development tasks, software quality assurance reviews, and vendor and contract management activities
?Manage the project or project stream applying Agile/Scrum practices and methodology whilst ensuring long term goals/plans are achieved
?Define the project iterations strategy. Manage and evaluate iterations
?Develop, implement, and maintain the Management Plan, including the configuration management, risk management, project measurement, and quality management plans.
?Measure and monitor progress at clearly defined points in the process to ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and that it meets or exceeds expectations. Balance scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks. Make adjustments as necessary
?Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams onsite and in remote locations; manage relationships with all (data) suppliers and subcontractors. Monitor their progress and adherence to the contract
?Implement stakeholder and communication management, communicate all requirements, project plans, progress, status, and changes to commitment to relevant stakeholders
?Identify risks and issues to the project and manage mitigations and/or resolution
?Define, collect, monitor, analyze, and report project metrics: cost, time, quality, risk, testing, communication, etc.
?Manage service or product quality, ensure quality and consistency of all deliverables, and ensure appropriate sign-offs of deliverables
?Ensure adherence of all project functions to DWH/BICC solution delivery process, standards, and best practices
