Business Analyst - Legal Entity Programme
Key Deliverables
Working with the Legal Entity Programme Business Architect and reporting to the local Legal Entity Project Manager, leads analysis and documentation of target-state business processes and controls relating to market, credit and operational risk:
- Document target state processes & controls utilising internal Tools and Standards.
- Conduct target state process map walk-throughs with key stakeholders
- Revise documentation as required and prepare governance committee submissions for approval.
- Assist with creation of a run book for dry run and go-live
- Helps to facilitate resolution of architecture issues
- Works with IT Architecture on resolving architectural open questions and developing transitional states into the target state.
- Participates in design governance forums including but not limited to:
- CRO Design Authority
- CRO Design Authority Working Group
Qualifications/competencies
- Investment Banking practices, operating processes, product and service offerings
- Change management in International Investment Banking
- Market Risk and Credit Risk processes and calculations in Investment Banking, eg, VaR, EAD, RWA
- Business Architecture principles and practices, eg, TOGAF
- Risk and Finance processes
- Risk and Finance Capital Calcs and Risk based methodology
- Risk reporting across Market, Credit, Operational, Fiduciary
Other attributes:
- A Banking and/or Consultancy background
- Experienced senior business analyst/business architect/solution design
- Strong understanding of FtB, banking risk and finance processes and infrastructure
- Excellent quantitative and analytical and problem solving skills
- Proven organizational, leadership, communication and management skills
- Proven ability to communicate with all levels of Management in a clear, concise manner
- Solid strategic analysis, problem solving, issue resolution and decision making skills
- Candidate must be able to lead by example and motivate/focus team members
- Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to innovate and drive change
- University under-graduate degree, preferably in computer science or a numerate discipline
- Analytically focused and process oriented
- Sufficient credibility to direct project teams and senior management relevant domain
- Assertive nature with tact, discretion and diplomacy
- Solid facilitation skills
- Effective relationship management and influencing skills
- The ability to create agreement among differing stakeholder views
