Project environment
A global Swiss Bank is looking for a Business Analyst for the application "Global MIS (GMIS)". The GMIS covers the full range of global financial information needs. It provides historical reporting of definitive financial and regulatory records to the relevant external and internal parties. The scope includes Performance Measurement (P&L), Client Asset Reporting, Net New Money reports etc. It offers a data pool for management information from all booking centers worldwide. Online analysis can be done on more than 60 specialized cubes for location needs and global analysis.
Tasks
• Performance and Detail reports and client lists provide monthly standard reports on client advisor level.
• IM online analysis and front reports show KPIs about the business with external asset managers down to client level.
• Detailed client analysis as well as client shift analysis.
• Detailed analysis on ISIN level, weekly as well as monthly incl. reconciliation to monthly submitted files.
• Special Condition Reporting.
• Weekly Sales data can be accessed via standard reports and adhoc universes.
Requirements
• A senior business analyst with a solid and proven BA methodology track record who is able to lead, coordinate and manage the requirements engineering and requirements management process within the project.
• A profound understanding & experience of data analysis and business intelligence products (Cognos, Business Objects).
• Knowledge of MIS & DWH concepts is expected.
• Hands-on experience with Business Objects, SQL, data structuring, reporting.
• Profound finance/controlling/accounting knowledge would be a big advantage.
• Corporate language for any documentation is English, project language is mostly German and therefore fluent speaking is a must.
