Randstad Professionals is actively looking for a Business Analyst for our client, a Global Swiss Bank based in Zurich.

Job description

  • Elicits, analyzes, models and validates business requirements, conditions and priorities within application development projects in the Credit Risk Domain. The applications involved in these projects are used to process Mortgage, Lombard and Corporate credit requests, to analyze client risk and to create/maintain credits, collaterals and real property data for the Private Banking area.
  • Identifies all the affected applications, processes and interfaces and perform a stakeholder analysis
  • Ensures that specified requirements are transmitted entirely and correctly to the development and test team members by writing clear and detailed functional and non-functional requirements specifications
  • Supports developers and testers by resolving business issues that come up during the technical implementation and testing phase
  • Provides subject matter expertise to support the development and validation of quality assurance, application architecture, testing and other project deliverables

Key Deliverables

  • Analysis of business and process requirements and elaboration of solution concepts
  • Creation of standard requirements engineering deliverables (Use Case Model, Business Object Model, UI Mockups
  • Use Cases, Domain Object Model, Business Rule Specifications, Screen and Report Specifications, Non Functional Requirements Specifications, Project Requirements List) on time and with high quality
  • Effort estimations and task planning for Requirements Engineering related project tasks

Key Skills/Experience:

Must skills:

  • 4 or more years of experience in business analysis and/or requirements engineering in application development projects
  • fluent written and spoken German and English
  • strong analytical problem solving skills
  • advanced knowledge of use case modelling
  • soft skills to handle stakeholders with different background (Business Project Managers, external Providers, User Representatives, Programmers, Offshore resources, Testers etc.)
  • strong ability to work independently and to work collaboratively in a team
  • experience in banking or finance industry
  • understanding of architecture diagrams (mostly UML component diagrams)

Advantageous skills:

  • credit risk domain know-how would be highly appreciated
  • experience in process design and modelling would be a big asset (Oracle OBPM)
  • SQL knowledge would be highly appreciated
  • experience in international projects
  • business engineering education and/or certificate
  • knowledge in business engineering process standards, tools (Polarion, Balsamiq, Subversion, JIRA, Enterprise Architect, HP Quality Center, SQL, etc.) and techniques
