One of our client is in need of a Systems Engineer - Medical Device Development (m/w/x). For this reason, we are looking for a talented professional, who is willing to be a part of this project.General Information:
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months contract, afterwards going perm
Workload: 80-100%
Work location: Solothurn (Hybrid)
As a Systems Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include
- Collaborating with product management, business development, and other stakeholders to define requirements and use cases for both new and existing products and systems.
- Establishing system architecture and interfaces with external systems.
- Working closely with experts from various development domains (hardware, software, mechanics), risk management, product management, human factors, and production teams.
- Close collaboration with verification teams to ensure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintaining requirements, traceability, and architecture using the requirements management tool throughout the product lifecycle, from development to product maintenance.
Your qualifications should ideally include
- An engineering degree (from a university or university of applied sciences) in electronics, software development, computer science, or biomedical engineering.
- Practical experience in interdisciplinary projects similar to this role.
- Expertise in requirements engineering (certification by IREB is advantageous).
- Experience in the development of mechatronic medical devices.
- Familiarity with medical technology or other regulated industries.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in English, with good command of the German language
