SAP LO-VC Consultant is required for a 5 month contract assignment, that can be located remotely or Denmark if you prefer (CET Time Zone).
The ideal candidate for the role must have excellent SAP Variance Configuration (SAP LO-VC) skills and practical experience and ideally will have worked on similar tasks before.
Project - Proof of Concept for replicating existing Product Configuration Model with new Declarative Model
Task Overview: Development of a new Configuration Model based on an existing model while converting to restrictable characteristics. The primary goal is to create a new version of the existing LOVC model.
Scope of Work: The model (SMCR) consists of approx. 800 characteristics, 200 procedures, 200 preconditions, 500 constraints, 300 tables, Variants (Product Numbers).
Objectives:
- The objective is to replicate and re-model an existing LOVC model into a declarative model with new Data Governance approved characteristics and ultimately be able to come up with the exact same BOM/routing for each existing variant. The model must be designed to work in configuration with SSC (CRM/CPQ) hence must be IPC ready so knowledge-base can be created, and the user experience in this environment supersedes the user experience in VA01, etc.
- Validation of same BOM/routing pr variant must be done to ensure that the new model gives same result as existing model. (Same BOM/route pr existing variant)
- After validation existing variants will have their current configuration on Basic Data 2 deleted and assigned a new configuration to the product number with the new model.
Documentation and Deliverables:
- All steps of the work must be documented and shared. The model work must live up to the most recent version of Product Modelling Guidelines.
- Work will be followed with frequent review sessions to ensure that guidelines are followed and learnings are documented.
- It's expected that more models will be converted, therefor a process for scaling is also requested.
